Churchgate - Next hearing on Maratha reservation issue will on 30th January 2017. On Wednesday in high court hearing was on the affidavit filed by the state government . More than 80% of Maratha community is socially backward , mentioned government in its affidavit. Most of the Maratha farmers are in debt , said the government . The court has reprimanded the government for filing affidavit late . The government has filed the 2700 pages affidavit on 5th December . On 30th January the court will decide about the argument . The argument will start from February. During that period no leader can promise reservation , warns the high court .
