Congress MLA Nitesh Rane on Saturday took to Twitter to vent out his frustration against Maharashtra Environment Minister and Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam after he criticised the Congress’ leader father - Maharashtra Swabhiman Paksha (MSP) chief Narayan Rane - saying that Narayan Rane was a shame to Konkan. .

Ramdas Kadam is Uddhav Thackeray’s pet dog. Late Babasaheb Thackeray liked dogs and Raj Thackeray too is fond of them. Uddhav Thackeray has also kept the tradition in mind,” commented Nitesh Rane against Kadam’s remarks.

Earlier on Friday, at an event in Ratnagiri, the state Environment Minister criticised Narayan Rane and said that he and his children have earned wealth with the support of Shiv Sena.

Narayan Rane has switched many parties since he left Shiv Sena. Rane went from Congress to BJP. Now, the only party left for Rane to switch is Ramdas Athawale’s. Rane criticises Uddhav Thackeray but he doesn’t have the same stature. He and his children are wealthy because of Shiv Sena. Rane is a shame attached to Konkan,” Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam said.
