Kadam is now facing flak for his careless comment. While political party leaders of other parties slammed him on social media, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) put up a hoarding labelling Ram Kadam "Ravan".

MNS party leader Ganesh Chukkal put up a hoarding where he mocked BJP and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The hoarding states that if (Ram Kadam) any MLA or his party workers tried kidnapping girls, MNS would take action against them.

These hoardings have been put up outside the CM residence, Ghatkopar and Bhiwandi.

Meanwhile, Kadam has extended his apology via Twitter where he clarified that he didn't mean any harm. He further said that opposition party leaders are trying to malign his image by just listening to 46 seconds of his speech. He added that the next day, no reporters raised a doubt as they had heard his whole speech.
