Another former corporator from the Uddhav Thackeray faction joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. Former Goregaon corporator Swapnil Tembwalkar and his wife Varsha Tembwalkar left Uddhav Thackeray’s party. Simultaneously, former Samajwadi Party corporator Akhtar Qureshi also joined Shiv Sena. The session of former corporator of Thackeray group Shinde's move to Shiv Sena is still going on and some more former corporators' parties entered Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Varsha residence late on Monday night.


Former corporators of Uddhav Thackeray group Swapnil Tembwalkar and Varsha Tembwalkar joined Shiv Sena this time. His workers were present with him on this occasion. The Chief Minister welcomed him into the party and wished him all the best for his future social and political career.

Chief Minister Shinde announced on this occasion that Swapnil Tembavalkar has been appointed as Goregaon Assembly Division Chief of Shiv Sena. The number of those who left the Thackeray group and joined Shinde's Shiv Sena has now increased to more than thirty. On this occasion Shiv Sena Secretary Sanjay More, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sheetal Mhatre, former corporator Ram Repale and all the prominent officials and activists of Shiv Sena in the western suburbs were present.
