Amruta Fadnaivs, the wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, recently took a dig at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray who is campaigning against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena government for the assembly elections in Maharashtra which are scheduled on October 21. 

While talking to the media, Amruta Fadnavis, who is also the director of Axis Bank described Raj Thackeray with a famous Bollywood dialogue saying that the MNS chief means, "entertainment...entertainment...entertainment".

Responding to another question, Amruta Fadnaiv referred to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray as 'elder brother'. With the assembly polls nearing, the outrage among one's political rivals is visible in the election rallies. 

Moreover, when asked about her husband, Amruta Fadnavis said that he is "Mr. India" as he is never home. 

Earlier in September this year, Amruta Fadnavis fuelled a controversy after she called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Father of the nation”.

However, she remained firm on her stand while several people on social media criticised her for insulting Mahatama Gandhi.
