Mumbai – The coming time is going to the struggle between the Shiv Sena and the BJP in the BMC. Both these parties will strike each other at an opportune moment. The BJP has already chalked out a strategy for this. Coincidently, the Sena has also prepared for the show of strength as its six brave women corporators are getting ready to take the fight on next level.

The Sena has gained power in the BMC but the BJP’s dream for it was shattered by the mandate given by Mumbaikars and hence they preferred to accept the role of Mumbai’s political guards. It is expected to result in arguments on different topics in the BMC. It indirectly suggest slugfest between these two parties.

As compared to the last civic body, the Sena’s position is seen stronger as it has senior corporators like Yashwant Jadhav, Mangesh Satamkar, Ashish Chemburkar, Shraddha Jadhav, Rajul Patel, Kishori Pednekar, Subhada Gudekar, Sheetal Mhatre, Vishakha Raut as well as studious corporators like Sanjay Ghadi, Pralhad Thombare, Bala Nar, Ramesh Koregaonkar, Amey Ghole, Samadhan Sarvankar, etc. But a team of seven brave women corporators of Sena who are going to take on the BJP will be the attraction of the existing house. These women corporators include Rajul Patel, Vishakha Raut, Shraddha Jadhav, Shubhada Gudekar, Suvarna Karanje and Kishori Pednekar. Defeated Trushna Vishwasrao will also join them as a co-opted member of Sena.

Only time will tell how the BJP will answer these old warlords along with fresh faces like Sheetal Mhatre, Sandhya Doshi, Anjali Naik, Sujata Patekar etc. It was Rajul Patel who had taken lead in the first-day war of sloganeering. It would be worth interesting for Mumbaikars to see how the BJP handle the challenge from these women corporators from Sena.
