Amid the ruckus over Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab lashed out at Amruta Fadnavis over her remarks that she doesn’t feel safe in Mumbai. Amruta is the wife of former Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis.

Parab, senior Shiv Sena leader, said that Amruta Fadnavis should leave Maharashtra if she feels unsafe and doesn’t have faith in Mumbai Police. The minister’s remarks come after Amruta took to Twitter to say that Mumbai has lost humanity and was not safer to live while questioning the handling of Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

“The manner in which Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case is being handled - I feel Mumbai has lost humanity and is no more safe to live - for innocent, self respecting citizens,” she tweeted with hashtags: #JusticeforSushantSinghRajput and #JusticeForDishaSalian.

Reacting to this, Parab said that Amruta Fadnavis should leave Maharashtra if she has lost faith in the Mumbai police personnel who continue to protect her. The minister said that the government has changed but the police force is the same.

“I think that Amruta Fadnavis should leave this state if she has no trust in the police who has protected her in the last five years and who continue to protect her even now. The government changed but the police force is the same. Devendra Fadnavis had the home portfolio when he was chief minister,” Parab said.

He also said that the statement made by Amruta Fadnavis reflects the frustration of the BJP as they couldn’t come in power. BJP used to praise policemen earlier but has changed their tone after losing power.
