In an exclusive interview with Mumbai Live, Congress party MLA Nitesh Rane praised Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for completing three years of good governance. Rane junior exclusively told Mumbai Live, in his FB live interview, that he can give a list of Congress MLAs who stealthily praise CM. At the same time, he also criticised Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena accusing him of playing dirty politics and who do nothing for the betterment of the city.

There is nothing wrong in backing MNS

Rane junior, in an interview, said like his father - president of Swabhimaan Sanghatna, Narayan Rane, who resigned from Congress- he has no plans of resigning. He added that if at all he plans to join any party he might opt for Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. He justified his statement saying that Raj Thackeray's thoughts are similar to late Bal Thackeray’s thoughts.

Also, while speaking on the hawkers’ issue, he spoke about Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam, where he mentioned that there are many Congress party workers who do not support Nirupam and do not accept him as their Congress leader. He sarcastically remarked that if he speaks to high-command, they might pardon Nirupam.

Meanwhile, he took a dig at Sena saying that he does not carry resignation letter similar to Sena ministers and will submit the letter when Narayan Rane tell him to do so. He further cleared that if at all he resigns he will not remain in the position of an opposition party leader
