Mumbai- Eight penguins were brought from South Korea and were kept at Byculla zoo. However, one died on Sunday which attrated huge criticsm from all political parties. MNS targeted BMC saying that they had opposed the move, yet they went ahead and brought the penguins. Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray heckled MNS saying that they should take care of their party and not penguin. He said it during a book launch. Few days back, when Raj Thackeray held a meeting with Karan Johar and CM on the ‘ADHM’ film issue, Uddhav Thackeray heckled saying that ‘Ye Toh Hona Hi Tha’.
Currently, post the death of penguin, MNS Sandeep Deshpande wrote a letter to the BMC, stating that they had raised the concern over bringing in the penguins but no one paid heed to their request. He ended the letter saying ‘Ye toh Hona Hi Tha’, mocking Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray.
