A meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi was held at YB Chavan Center today. During this meeting, the prominent leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi addressed the workers and office bearers in attendance. Meanwhile, Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) group chief Uddhav Thackeray also interacted with the workers present. At this time, he strongly attacked the BJP along with the Shinde group.

“Currently in Maharashtra there is just one situation, either join BJP or serve jail term. Now it is our time to show the state the right direction. Are we going to show direction or not? This battle is not only for Shiv Sena. Now we have to come together. The government will be formed. This is not a battle. Our government will be established. However, we are answerable to the people as to why we are forming the government".

Criticizing the BJP, Uddhav Thackeray further said, “Today a legal battle is going on in the Supreme Court. I believe in God and Justice. I have often said that there are four pillars of democracy. Three of these pillars have been disposed of. An important pillar of this is the media... Journalists should always have a 'pen' in their hands. Many journalists these days have 'kamal' (lotus) in their hands."

“In all such situations, the only ray of hope is the Supreme Court… the blindfold goddess of justice. But I am absolutely sure, even if the goddess of justice is blindfolded, she will not allow democracy to be stripped away in our country," Uddhav Thackeray also expressed his belief.
