Mumbai- In order to control the emission of CO2 and air pollution, central environment and forest department have decided to use fly ash. This fly ash will be used in laying roads and making construction material, bricks and wall panels. Most of the ash will be picked up from 19 thermal power plants and bio-gas plants across the State. This decision has been taken by energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Central government has given out the directives to utilize 100% fly ash by 31st December 2017.
