The Siddhivinayak Temple has decided to increase the number of devotees per hour from 250 devotees per hour to 800 devotees per hour.

On the spectrum of good news for the devotees, the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai has decided to increase the number of devotees who can now visit there through online booking from January 1.

As per reports, the number has been increased from 250 devotees per hour to 800 devotees per hour. The Siddhivinayak temple would earlier be visited by 250 devotees every hour. Now, from January 1, 800 people will be able to visit every hour through online booking. However, devotees who have reserved a QR code online are the only ones eligible. In addition, the reservation symbol is non-transferable and will not be accepted via WhatsApp, in the form of photos or screenshots. Moreover, admission will be through Siddhi entrance on Bole Marg and Riddhi entrance on Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg.

Darshan times:

  • 7 am to 12 noon
  • 12.30 pm to evening. 7
  • 8 to 9 p.m.

On the other hand, the members of Siddhivinayak temple trust and the state government had earlier filed affidavits contradicting one another on the issue of two grants worth ₹5 crores each to the state, according to a report released on November 25. This comes after the Bombay High Court, in August, had directed the state government and temple trust to file their affidavits against the petition challenging the government’s decision on transfer of trust’s funds.
