Day 2 of the Lashkaria Cricket League saw Shivaji Park Gymkhana beat Mahim Juvenile by just 13 runs. In a close match played at Shivaji Park, SPG made 169/5 in their 30 overs. Man of the Match Raj Deskhmukh played a match winning knock of 70 runs. Mahim Juvenile were up to the task in the chase but fell short of just 13 runs are their team was knocked out in 27.1 overs for 156 runs.
The third edition of the Lashkaria Cricket League began at the Goregaon sports club on the 16th April. This is a unique tournament, especially for U 14 kids. Matches are played in a round-robin league format with each match of 30 overs. These matches will be played over a month at various venues including Goregaon sports club, MIG, Shivaji Park, Payyade Kandivali, Aarey Bhaskar ground and DPC Matunga.
