Bringing back the Joy of Reading: Airtel and Juggernaut announce FREE access to thousands of e-books

Amid growing cases of COVID-19 in India, there has been a complete lockdown imposed till April 15. During this time, citizens can go out only to buy essentials. Only shops selling essentials or those engaged in essential services can venture out of their home. 

During this time, a lot of people are looking at bonding with their family and also resorting to watching a lot of content online via streaming apps. There is also be a keen interest in catching up on books. While a few had their favourite paperbacks handy the rest have to rely on online resources. 

Keeping the interest of these consumers in mind, Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), has announced that thousands of titles on its e-books platform – Juggernaut Books (formerly known as Airtel Books) will be available for free for all its customers.  

In a statement, the company shared that, "As India stays at home to support the Government’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, readers can now access thousands of top books and novels on Juggernaut Books for FREE by simply downloading the app (Android/iOS) on their smartphones".

Top titles on Juggernaut Books include:

  •     Good Economics by Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo
