Popular actress Nisha Rawal, on Monday, May 31, 2021, filed a complaint against her husband and actor Karan Mehra, stating domestic violence. A complaint was filed at Goregaon Police station, post which he was arrested by the police. He was released on bail on Monday, June 1, 2021.
As per reports, Karan physically and verbally abused Nisha. He allegedly pushed her against the wall due to which Nisha suffered an injury on the head. While addressing the media, she said that Karan had an affair with another actress for a few months, and the two were planning a divorce due to unhappy relationship.
“I didn’t come out in public for the longest time out of love and respect for Karan. However, this time I couldn’t take it. There is no excuse for domestic violence. I urge every women to raise her voice because not doing so is encouraging it," she told the media. As of now, Nisha is seeking justice for domestic violence and also wants security for herself and their son, Kavish.
Nisha’s friend and designer Rohit Verma opened up about the situation, and said, "I have been seeing silently suffer for years finally she decided to let out her cry for help and stand for herself and child

It is also being said that Rohit admitted her to a hospital for treatment after she was injured.
