Mumbai Metro has decided to extend the services of two trains starting from Andheri West to Dahisar East, instead of terminating at Dahanukarwadi station from Monday, January 30, at 21.43 hrs & 22.00 hrs, in response to commuter's feedback. 

After this decision of the metro administration, now two metro services that were terminating at Dahanukarwadi station from Andheri East will now run till Dahisar East.

Meanwhile, after the span of three years, Mumbai’s first metro (Blue Line) connecting Versova, Andheri and Ghatkopar recorded a daily passenger footfall of over 4 lakhs.

On January 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the much-awaited second phase of Mumbai Metro Line 2A and 7 in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
