While the people in Mumbai could not be any less troubled by scorching heat in Mumbai, the railways too has joined the club of adding to the problems of the residents of the city. Albeit, the IRCTC has arranged for pure and cold water for migrants on the Central Railway station, yet the sad part is that is all of them are there for namesake purposes, considering they no longer are in working condition.
Further, the railway stations are although quipped with 45 water machines yet many of these water machines do not work. As a matter of fact, while the surging heat levels is taking a toll on people in the city, the populace have no option to quench their thirst but to resort to plain drinking water instead of cold.
