Goregaon - Finally, the escalator at Goregaon station's platform number one is functional. The escalator was out of service since a step was broken. The non functional escalator was a cause of major concern especially for the senior citizens. Mumbai Live had reported about this problem earlier. In Goregaon station the newly constructed ticket counter is on the first level and this escalator takes commuters to that level. So this will be of great help for the elderly.
