विनोद खन्ना काळाच्या पडद्याआड

प्रसिद्ध बॉलिवूड अभिनेते तसेच भाजपाचे गुरुदासपूर मतदारसंघाचे खासदार विनोद खन्ना यांचे गुरुवारी सकाळी मुंबईत निधन झाले. ते 70 वर्षांचे होते. गेल्या काही महिन्यांपासून ते कर्करोगाच्या आजाराने त्रस्त होते. त्यांच्यावर मुंबईतील रिलायन्स फाऊंडेशन रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू होते. मात्र उपचारादरम्यान प्रकृती खालवल्यामुळे त्यांचे निधन झाले. काही दिवसांपूर्वीच त्यांचा कृश अवस्थेतील फोटो प्रसिद्ध झाला होता. 

त्यावेळी त्यांच्या परिवाराने त्यांची प्रकृती स्थिर असून, त्यांना अतिसाराचा त्रास होत असल्यामुळे रुग्णालयात दाखल केल्याचे सांगितले होते. 

विनोद खन्ना यांचा जन्म 6 ऑक्टोबर 1946 ला झाला होता. त्यांनी 1968 मध्ये बॉलिवूडमध्ये पदार्पण केले होते. बॉलिवूडमधील प्रदीर्घ कारकीर्दीदरम्यान त्यांनी 141 चित्रपटांमध्ये भूमिका केली होती. यापैकी मेरे अपने, मेरा गाव मेरा देश, गद्दार, जेल यात्रा, इन्कार, कच्चे धागे, अमर अकबर अँन्थोनी, कुर्बानी, कुदरत, दयावान यांसारखे त्यांचे चित्रपट विशेष संस्मरणीय ठरले. 

कारकीर्दीच्या ऐन शिखरावर असताना 1982 मध्ये त्यांनी बॉलिवूडमधून संन्यास घेतला आणि अध्यात्मिक गुरू ओशो रजनीश यांच्या आश्रमात सुमारे 5 वर्ष व्यतित केली. त्यानंतर पुन्हा बॉलिवूडमध्ये प्रवेश करत इन्साफ आणि सत्यमेव जयते यांसारखे सुपरहिट चित्रपट केले. विनोद खन्ना हे त्यांच्या काळातील धर्मेद्र,राजेश खन्ना,शम्मी कपूर यांच्या इतकेच देखणे व रुबाबदार म्हणून प्रख्यात होते.

ज्येष्ठ अभिनेते विनोद खन्ना यांच्या निधनाने आपल्या विविधांगी भूमिकांमुळे हिंदी चित्रपटसृष्टी समृद्ध करण्यात मोठे योगदान देणारे आणि सामाजिक-राजकीय क्षेत्रात आपला वेगळा ठसा उमटविणारे व्यक्तिमत्त्व गमावले आहे. विनोद खन्ना यांनी विविधांगी भूमिका केल्या. खलनायक, नायक, सहअभिनेता ते चरित्र अभिनेता अशा वेगवेगळ्या भूमिका करताना त्यात त्यांनी आपल्या अभिनयाचा ठसा उमटविला. त्यासोबतच भाजपाचे गुरूदासपूरचे खासदार आणि अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांच्या मंत्रिमंडळात राज्यमंत्री म्हणून त्यांनी केलेले कार्य कायम स्मरणात राहील. श्री. खन्ना यांच्या निधनाने सामाजिक, राजकीय क्षेत्राची उत्तम जाण असणारा कलावंत आपण गमावला आहे.
