Uddhav Thackeray had earlier met Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry Lav Agarwal on Saturday to review the situation of COVID-19 in Maharashtra. The Central team led by Lav Agarwal visited Thane in the midst of the ongoing pandemic and took cognizance of the health infrastructure facilities in the district. The two-member team led by Agarwal had earlier been in Maharashtra to overlook and review the measures undertaken by the authorities to contain the spread of the contagious disease.
