SHARES

Mumbai - A BMC election was fair to both Shiv Sena and Bhartiya Janta Party who got a somewhat similar number of seats, 84 and 82. And so both the parties are trying hard to outdo each other and attain magic figure. However, it seems that the Sena party is getting successful as four independent candidates are lending out their support. This includes Snehal More, Tulshiram Shinde, Kiran Landge, who are supporting the Sena party by joining the party. While the other two Mumtaz Khan and Changez Multani is supporting Shiv Sena without joining the party. “88 corporators were present for the meet. The Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray gave them the guidance on how to join the party by explaining them the technical issues” said Sanjay Raut, MP, Shiv Sena.

On Saturday, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray met these five corporators at Sena Bhavan and asked them not to fall prey to any bait. According to the trusted sources, the Sena party is in talks with other political parties for an alliance to attain a magic figure for the post of mayor. Both the parties, i.e Shiv Sena and BJP are trying their best to get that magic figure. However, we will have to wait until 9 march which will decide the fate of parties regarding mayor post.
