LIC warned of Sena-style agitation

Nariman Point - Issuing warning to the LIC management, Shiv Sena sponsored Bharatiya Vima Karmachari Sena president MLA Sunil Shinde has said that his unit will stage a Sena-style agitation if pending demands of LIC employees are not solved soon. Taking the LIC management to task, Shinde said that LIC employees have been demanding pension option, five-day week, new recruitment etc. to be implemented soon. But the LIC authorities are neglecting these demands and also enforcing the Mobility Transfer Policy on employees. It will attract strong resistance from Shiv Sena’s LIC unit, said Shinde.
