With political analysts speculating the results of 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections, the unofficial ‘Satta bazar’ have their money on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena alliance in the upcoming assembly polls.
Along with Maharashtra, Haryana will also vote on October 21 and the bid in the betting market for both the states would cross nearly ₹25,000-30,000 crores.
With the delay in the surety of Sena and BJP alliance in Maharashtra, the betting market opened on October 9 while the election dates were announced on September 21.
As per the betting rates, the BJP will emerge as the single largest party along with Sena in the alliance. Moreover, after the illegal 'Satta market' opened, the rates favoured the ruling alliance.

Of the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, as per the market, BJP and Shiv Sena will get 200 to 215 seats while the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress will get 55-60 seats.

The BJP’s win in the assembly elections is being speculated after the mass exodus of prominent leaders from NCP and Congress. Moreover, the BJP has made article 370 as an election issue in Maharashtra while Shiv Sena has pitched for the construction of Ram Mandir.
