An important information has come to light in the Shiv Sena MLA disqualification case. Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that the MLA disqualification hearing will continue for 18 days. The Speaker of the Assembly read out the hearing dates to both the groups. Narvekar said that the case will also be heard in Nagpur.


The cross-examination of Shiv Sena's Thackeray faction's Sunil Prabhu with Mahesh Jethmalani continues. During the MLA disqualification hearing on Wednesday, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar expressed displeasure over the pace of the hearing. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that I have only 16 days for this hearing. "I want to finish the hearing of these cases by December 31," Narvekar said, adding that he had told both the parties that he had only 16 days, excluding public holidays and session period, to complete the hearing of the case. After this, the Speaker of the Assembly announced the schedule of the hearing today.

This is the schedule of MLA disqualification hearing

  • November: 28, 29 and 30
  • December: 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7
  • Continuous hearing from December 11 to 15 
  • Continuous hearing from December 18 to 22 

Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that if the winter session starts from December 7, the hearing will be held in Nagpur from December 11.
