Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ram Kadam is facing flak for his controversial statement against women across the state. Many of the political parties are demanding his resignation while some are demanding the state government to take action against him. However, State women’s Commission was silent on this matter until Kadam said that whatever he said, he regretted it.

The State Women’s Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar has sent a notice to Kadam on Wednesday night asking him to revert within eight days. She said that he must exercise caution before making such irresponsible comments on women.

Rahatkar further said though Kadam has claimed that his statement was manipulated, such careless statements against women are not welcoming. She added that he and all other public representatives must be vigilant before speaking out such things.
