MNS' Sumedh Bhawar assault a NCP office bearer in Ambernath

In a confession, Sumedh Bhawar admitted that he assaulted Sachin Ahirekar claiming that the latter abused MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Ahirekar was the personal assistant to Bhawar in the BJP. However, after Bhawar joined MNS, Ahirekar also left the BJP.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) Sumedh Bhawar confessed that he beat up a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) office-bearer Sachin Ahirekar as the latter abused Raj Thackeray. 

This conflict between the two parties happened in Ambernath. Bhawar had joined MNS from BJP ahead of 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections. Bhawar was keen on contesting the assembly polls from Ambernath assembly constituency. 

However, Bhawar decided to join MNS as the Shiv Sena fielded its candidate. BJP and Shiv Sena had contested the 2019 Maharashtra assembly polls together.

In a confession, Sumedh Bhawar admitted that he assaulted Sachin Ahirekar claiming that the latter abused MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Ahirekar was the personal assistant to Bhawar in the BJP. However, after Bhawar joined MNS, Ahirekar also left the BJP and joined NCP. 

Ahirekar has accused MNS’ Sumedh Bhawar of beating him along with his bodyguards. The NCP office-bearer further informs that he was also beaten up with stone on his head.

The police have registered a case against MNS’ Sumedh Bhawar and his associates.
