Former Chief Minister Narayan Rane took a dig at Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray over late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray’s proposed memorial which is still on papers. Rane criticised Thackeray for not being able to build a memorial of late Bal Thackeray and promising a Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, he also took a dig at Thackeray adding that the latter had to gather people for his Dussehra rally, which happens every year at Shivaji Park. He also criticised Thackeray for not delivering a speech but delivering a prayer.

During the Dussehra rally, Thackeray questioned India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi about keeping his promise of building the temple in Ayodhya or Shiv Sena should do the honours. He mentioned that he is going to visit Ayodhya on November 25, 2018 and is going to question Modi about Ram temple.

Rane said that Shiv Sena is in power for the last four years, in both the state and central government yet they thought of building Ram temple now. He added that if Thackeray has some self-respect then he should resign from his post.
