During the Dussehra rally, Thackeray questioned India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi about keeping his promise of building the temple in Ayodhya or Shiv Sena should do the honours. He mentioned that he is going to visit Ayodhya on November 25, 2018 and is going to question Modi about Ram temple.

Rane said that Shiv Sena is in power for the last four years, in both the state and central government yet they thought of building Ram temple now. He added that if Thackeray has some self-respect then he should resign from his post.
