Meanwhile, leader of Opposition in the legislative council, Dhananjay Munde (NCP) alleged that the state government has filed false cases against the protestors. He wrote to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding him to order district police officials to withdraw the cases.

Maratha Kranti Morcha was carried out peacefully. But, when it became violent, the state government did not pay attention to it.
