Amid the ongoing speculations of Shiv Sena minister Eknath Shinde’s inaccessibility, he took to Twitter and claimed that he would never cheat for power.

“We are Balasaheb's staunch Shiv Sainiks. Balasaheb has taught us Hindutva. As per Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb's teachings and Balasaheb’s thoughts, we have learned to never cheat for power,” Shinde wrote.

Few moments before Shinde's statement, Shiv Sena, during a meeting, decided to remove the minister from the Legislative party group leader for his behaviour as he left for Surat after the elections. He has allegedly been replaced by another legislator Ajay Chaudhary.

On the other hand, in the meeting called at Varsha by Thackeray, accounts claim 18 of 55 legislators were in attendance.

The political crisis brew in Maharashtra after senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde along with 13 of his MLAs was uncommunicable since last night following the results of the MLC elections. In the light of this and several speculations doing rounds on media, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar conducted a press conference.

Based on reports, Shinde is claimed to be angry for allegedly being neglected in the operation of the party and the government. Moreover, he is not pleased for reportedly not having attained freedom in operating his department that entails urban development and public works because of dominance from the father-son duo (Uddhav and Aaditya Thackeray).

It has been claimed that Shinde's followers in the party were not pleased with Uddhav Thackeray's indifferent attitude as well as in the allocation of requisite funds in their constituencies.

Other MVA allies that include NCP and Congress are believed to be watching these developments closely because the survival of its government could be at stake.

Moreover, certain reports allege that the MLAs with Shinde include; Abdul Sattar, Shambhuraj Desai, Sandipan Bhumre,  Rajput with Udayas, Bharat Gogavale, Nitin Deshmukh, Anil Babur, Vishwanath Bhoir, Sanjay Gaekwad, Sanjay Ramulkar, Mahesh Sinde, Shahaji Patil, Prakash Abitkar, Sanjay Rathore, Gyanraj Chowgule, Tanaji Sawant, Sanjay Shirsat and Ramesh Bornare.
