After Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray took a press conference and expressed displeasure over Palghar bypoll elections hinting that they would not make any alliance with any party for the upcoming 2019 elections, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a press conference at BJP office and cleared his stand that the BJP is always ready for the alliance. He added that they would like to have an alliance but it cannot happen from one side. CM also said that they have always respected SS and will leave the decision of keeping the alliance with the former party.

We would have won in Bhandara-Gondiya provided the elections would have scheduled in the rainy season. We lost there because of drought,” said CM Fadnavis.
However, he said with a confidence that the party will win 2019 Bhandara-Gondiya elections.
Commenting on the EVM machines shutting down, the CM added that state election commission should take strict and preventive measures. He added that the BJP party got affected by the same.
Why was everyone blaming BJP for faulty EVM machines? As if the EVM machines were made by BJP,” said CM.
When CM was asked about the allegations of distributing money in Palghar prior to voting, CM refuted the allegations and added that whoever is alleging should produce proof for the same.

When he was asked about his stand for Wanga family, he said that the party would always welcome the family.
Uddhav Thackeray said in a press conference that he will not accept the defeat of Palghar bypolls elections. Commenting on the same, CM said that let Uddhav Thackeray decide to accept the defeat or not.
