Sanjay Raut: BJP Is Behind Loudspeaker Row In Maharashtra

While interacting with media persons on Wednesday, May 4, Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut alleged that the BJP is behind the loudspeaker row in Maharashtra. Raut believes that the BJP is using the MNS Supremo, Raj Thackeray to create differences amongst Hindus in Maharashtra

According to Raut, loudspeakers are not just used in mosques in the state, but temples also make use of them for "Aartis". These "aartis", he says are done early in the morning and people often through the means of loudspeakers hear these religious sermons.

This, the Shiv Sena leader says is done by people because not all of them can enter temple premises. However, on Wednesday this could not happen which Raut thinks is unfortunate.

Further broaching on the loudspeaker row, Raut voiced that the Supreme Court decision applies to all. He was quoted in reports saying "Now our temples also have to bear the brunt of it. It's a black day for us Hindus that people couldn't hear Aartis."

This he claims is because of BJP's politicians who are in cahoots with Thackeray. On the other hand, Thackeray continues to reiterate that the loudspeaker issue brought into the limelight by him is not a religious problem but instead a social one.

He declared that the protests staged by his party workers throughout the state weren't a one-day affair but will continue to remain in action until illegal loudspeakers are removed from mosques. However, Raut claimed that there have been no protests and there is peace in the state
