Mumbai- After MNS' Bala Nandgaonkar's offer of an alliance was turned down by the Shiv Sena, a Shiv Sena's spokesperson clarified on a social networking website that the Shiv Sena would join hands with the MNS only if MNS backs Shiv Sena without fielding its candidates in the upcoming civic elections.
Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray however has distanced himself from the post saying that anything posted on personal accounts could not be attributed as an official party post. He added that people should follow posts which are posted only through Shiv Sena’s authorised website.
