After the bypoll debacle, the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to reach out to their sulking allies. On Wednesday, president Amit Shah will be visiting Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray at his residence in Mumbai. Both the allies fought the electoral battle fiercely in Palghar Lok Sabha seat.
It is believed that this meeting will be crucial considering the on-going cold war between the two parties.

After Palghar elections, SS president Uddhav Thackeray took a press conference and hinted that the party can contest on its own. He also said that the saffron party will not have an alliance with the BJP.

Post Palghar bypolls, SS president Uddhav Thackery lashed out at the state election commission (SEC) alleging that the same is corrupt. He also expressed his anger over faulty EVM machines alleging that the BJP rigged the machines to win the Palghar bypolls.
