The state government has been working for several days on passing the GST Bill. In order to pass the bill, where the state has called a special session, on the other hand, the state government has accepted all the demands raised by the Shiv Sena in the context of the GST. It is being speculated that after the state government's move, the government will not have any problem in passing the GST Bill.

Demands proposed by Shiv Sena -
1) If the BMC gets fund from the centre, then the state government will compensate the funds.
2) The government funding to BMC will be increased by 8% every year.
3) BMC funding to be done regularly.

Earlier on Monday, State Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar had met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in Matoshree. In this meeting, Sudhir Mungantiwar gave a presentation to Uddhav Thackeray on GST. After discussing the bill with the central finance minister, Uddhav discussed this with the party leaders and then gave his approval on the draft.
