Attacking the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday anticipated that those in power at central and state will lose it. No one will get a majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha polls in the year 2019, said Pawar.

Congress and NCP have announced their pre-poll alliance and are ambitious to form a mega-alliance in order to defeat BJP. Speaking about the mega-alliance, Pawar said that the alliance will be benefited as no one is expected to win a majority.

I have good relations with other parties and will make sure that we together contest in the election. I will also try to form an alliance in every state. We will also try to form a post-poll alliance with parties who win in other states in accordance with our ideology,” NCP chief Sharad Pawar said.

Pawar in a TV interview narrated that Uttar Pradesh’s Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) have come together and are likely to get positive results in the state’s elections. Pawar wants that every party who is contesting against BJP should come together.
