Stones were pelted at the convoy of Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray's car last night in Aurangabad's Vaijapur area during the party's Shiv Samvad Yatra on Tuesday evening. According to party functionaries, the procession was stopped by the police due to the presence of some "anti-social elements" and some members of the procession allegedly started pelting stones.
It is also coming to the fore that an attempt was made to stop Aditya's car and some stones were thrown at his convoy. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Ambadas Danve said that “a stone fell inside the venue and some stones were also thrown at the convoy when we were leaving the venue, the crowd was raising slogans in support of local MLA Ramesh Bornare, it was an attempt by some anti-social elements in the crowd to create a rift between the two groups”.

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Ambadas Danve has alleged that MLA Aditya Thackeray's car was attacked by workers of Shinde faction MLAs. Danve said that some people had deliberately hatched this conspiracy to prevent them from uniting. The government is deliberately ignoring the security of Aditya Thackeray. Danve demanded that the government should increase his security.
