Anand Dubey becomes Shiv Sena's new spokeperson
A new list of Shiv Sena spokespersons was announced on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the behest of Shiv Sena party Chief Uddhav Thackeray and at the suggestion of State Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray

As per reports, three people who have joined the Shiv Sena in the last two years have been given the post of spokespersons. It is said that along with Sachin Ahir and Priyanka Chaturvedi, Anand Dubey has also been appointed as the spokesperson.

After the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, there was a stir in the Congress, in precisely five months before the assembly elections. After former Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi joined the Shiv Sena, Maharashtra Youth Congress spokesperson Anand Dubey also tied the Shivbandhan. He decided to make the decision soon after Rahul Gandhi resigned as Congress President, post which Dubey also resigned from all his posts.

He then joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Aaditya Thackeray in July 2019, and has now been elected as the Shiv Sena spokesperson. His role is said to be crucial now, especially when it is ahead of the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Experts state that there are speculations about Shiv Sena trying to woo the North Indian voters through Anand Dubey.
