Govandi - Mumbai Police (Zone VI) and Mohalla Committee Movement Trust had organised cricket for peace tournament on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Garden, Govandi on Wednesday.
The match was scheduled from 11 am to 5 pm. Eight police teams participated in the tournament out of 10 police stations in the zone. Kurla Nehru Nagar and Trombay police did not participate in the four-over per match tournament. Shivaji Nagar and RCF Police made it to the final rounds. The RCF team defeated Shivaji Nagar by four runs and won the tournament. The winner will move on to the next round to play the match in Marol on Thursday.
