On Monday, April 25, Maharashtra minister for higher and technical education, Uday Samant clarified that all state university summer 2022 exams will be conducted offline, reports stated.
According to accounts, a decision was reportedly undertaken in a meeting conducted between Samant and the vice-chancellors of all state universities. Herein officials unanimously agreed to opt for offline exams between April and May 2022.
Based on narratives, this comes in the aftermath of officials at Nagpur University deciding to postpone the exams commencing April 25 onwards and conducting them online. Owing to this decision, students from other state universities were irked since they demanded a similar option.
Later on Tuesday, April 26, Samant took to Twitter to say, “The majority of university vice-chancellors are adamant about taking offline exams in vice-chancellor meetings.”
Further, he added that the university will give a set of questions to the students while taking the exam. Additionally, Samant uttered that there will be a gap of two days between the two papers. The exams will be held from 1st June to 15th July, he said.
